Published on 30 March, 2010 by Arbury.

From 4 –14 March 2010, Peugeot will grab the spotlight at the 80th International Motor Show in Geneva when it unveils its spectacular new line-up.

The Geneva Motor Show is one of Europe’s largest automotive conventions and Peugeot will be showcasing an array of exciting new concept cars and award-winning vehicles. Plus, it’s a great opportunity for Peugeot to outline its innovative development in HYbrid4 engine technology and commitment to environmental strategy.

Watch out for the world premier of the “5 by Peugeot” – Peugeot’s latest concept car. The luxury saloon is a stylish reinterpretation of a classic touring model that benefits from Peugeot’s HYbrid4 diesel engine technology, providing a powerful 200bhp but also producing zero emissions when in electric mode.

Meanwhile, the sublime SR1 concept car will also be on show. The sporty, sleek roadster is bound to grab the headlines this year with its gorgeous exterior and impressive hybrid engine technology that perfectly captures Peugeot’s fresh design strategy and scintillating new brand signature, Motion & Emotion.

Throughout the motor show, the Peugeot stand will present a superb collection of 28 models that includes the dazzling RCZ. The RCZ is Peugeot’s new 2 + 2 sports coupé that will be on sale this Spring and has just been named the ‘Most Beautiful Car of 2009’ by the 25th International Automobile Festival in Paris. And, expect to see the 3008 Crossover (judged by What Car? Magazine as ‘Car of the Year’ for 2010 and Best Crossover) and the 5008 which also picked up a What Car? Magazine award for Best MPV.

The motor show also provides a great chance to see Peugeot’s unveiling of its new e-HDi micro-hybrid engine technology and the 3008 HYbrid4 plug-in vehicle that is due for launch in 2012 and produces just 50g/km CO2.
