Exciting new car launches, hybrid technology and concept models – Peugeot will be revealing them all at the 63rd Frankfurt Motor Show.
The bi-annual show will see the debut of Peugeot’s all-new 5008 people carrier and RCZ coupé. Also taking pride of place will be Peugeot’s HYbrid4 technology, including the 3008 HYbrid4 with emissions of just 99g/km CO2. Here are just some of the highlights:
5008
Peugeot’s first compact people carrier will be on display. The car offers a spacious interior for up to seven, excellent modularity and class leading usable volume.
Advanced technology in the car includes a Head-Up Display, Distance Alert, and dynamic road holding.
The 5008 will also feature a range of powerplants on launch later this year.
The model on display in Frankfurt will be equipped with an in-car WiFi access point, allowing Internet connectivity when the car is in motion.
RCZ
The concept version of the RCZ was first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007. And the production model will be on display at this year’s event – just months before it goes on sale.
The 2+2 coupé promises a sublime driving experience with a signature ‘double bubble’ roof and a choice of three high-performance engines, including the new 1.6 THP 147kW (200bhp) powerplant.
HYbrid4 Technology
Peugeot’s HYbrid4 technology will be rolled out over the next two years. On show at Frankfurt will be the 3008 HYbrid4 with emissions of just 99g/km CO2. The production model is scheduled for launch in spring 2011. Also on display will be the experimental RCZ HYbrid4 with emissions of just 95g/km.
The Frankfurt Motor Show takes place 15-27 September 2009.
