The Skoda Yeti is a clever compact SUV. Škoda Auto celebrates the extension of its model range to five with the introduction of Yeti at Geneva. The 4.2 metre long, five-door vehicle distinguishes itself with very agile handling coupled with high safety reserves as well as with the stylish exterior. Compact, attractively styled and full of surprises – that is the new Yeti.

The Skoda Yeti has an impressive front end with a ribbed grille and friendly looking headlamps confidently demonstrate Yeti’s relationship with the Škoda family. Sturdy flanks and distinct wings give Yeti its robust and solid look on 17 inch wheels, without coming across as heavy.

It meets the demands for a cleanly styled body, a high seat position and versatile operating options with a design, which despite its robustness, exudes lightness rather than bulky shapes. The Skoda Yeti also meets the needs for environmental care, luggage space, safety and great road holding. The luggage compartment volume is flexible; up to 1760 litres is available by removing the rear seats. A carefully balanced running gear concept allows the driver to implement what the design implies: fun and dynamic to drive.

Under the bonnet the Yeti hides a turbo-charged engine from the range of two petrol (1.2 TSI/77 kW and 1.8 TSI/118 kW) and three diesel (2.0 TDI CR DPF with a power output of 81 kW, 103 kW and 125kW) variants. All the engines have low fuel consumption and emissions values. Obviously, as it is an SUV, customers can choose an 4x4 version, which is characterised by outstanding off-road suitability and excellent traction.

The Skoda Yeti clearly shows what an SUV vehicle looks like from the Škoda viewpoint. It brings maximum functionality of arrangement, number of intelligent solutions typical of the brand – and naturally also innovative design.
