The introduction of the N-Trek to the X-Trail line-up brings extra appeal to Nissan’s groundbreaking family SUV range as it comes with Nissan’s unique e-POWER or e-4ORCE powertrains. These utilise an efficient turbocharged three-cylinder, 1.5-litre engine with variable compression technology, which generates electricity and charges the car battery. 

The low-down: 

• e-POWER – a two-wheel-drive variant where the battery powers a single motor that’s connected to the front wheels. 

• e-4ORCE – all-wheel drive powertrain uses a motor at each axle. The system can adjust its power application 10,000 times per second and maximise its traction to be able to tackle any surface.  

Both powertrains deliver a smooth and efficient performance that feels like an all-electric drive. Drivers can go anywhere with confidence knowing that they can take on any driving condition on or off-road. ‘Get dirty’ and make the most of every group or family adventure no matter the activity or conditions!
