Fresh design with greater presence

The New Peugeot 408 introduces Peugeot’s latest front-end styling, including a striking new grille design, signature three-claw daytime running lights, and an illuminated Peugeot shield and front grille on selected trims.

A wider, lower stance gives the car a more planted, assured look on the road, while aerodynamic improvements help efficiency and refinement. New alloy wheel designs, illuminated rear Peugeot lettering and updated exterior badging complete the makeover. Here at Team Arbury, we love the new 19-inch Adakite diamond-cut alloy wheel design on the Allure trim!

A new Flare Green Metallic paint finish also joins the range, adding another eye-catching option for drivers who like to stand out for all the right reasons.

A cabin that feels smart on every journey

Inside, the high-tech cabin has been refined with new instrument panel graphics, fresh seat trims and upgraded materials across the range, including Alcantara on the GT Premium trim.

The New Peugeot 408 also now includes a driver vigilance camera as standard, helping monitor driver alertness on longer journeys. Peugeot’s signature i-Cockpit layout remains at the centre of the experience, pairing compact steering wheel controls with digital displays and intuitive touchscreen technology.

Fully electrified powertrains from launch

From day one, you can choose from three electrified powertrains:

Self-charging hybrid: 145hp (230Nm) for efficient everyday driving with no need to plug in. Pure electric driving up to 1km is possible at low speed – ideal for stop/start slow-moving commuter traffic and urban driving.

Plug-in hybrid: The recently launched Gen 2 plug-in hybrid utilises an efficient 1.6-litre petrol engine combined with a 92kW electric motor, giving you 240hp combined power and up to 50 miles of electric driving range.

Full electric Peugeot E-408: Uses a 58kWh traction battery that gives you up to 283 miles of range, 210hp and three levels of regenerative braking via the steering-wheel-mounted paddles.

Whether your priority is lower running costs, fewer fuel stops or making the switch to fully electric motoring, there’s a Peugeot 408 to match your lifestyle. Electric versions also qualify for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, adding further value for drivers ready to go fully electric.
