What do you do?

I am the Accountant for Solihull and Stourbridge – I look after all the finance for both dealerships. My role is very much to support the dealerships from a financial standpoint, and I report our performance to the manufacturers.

Tell us about your journey with Arbury.

I started as a Trainee Accounts Assistant in 2016 and worked in the Central Accounts team for five years, enduring lockdown/furlough/WFH – and I was promoted at the beginning of 2022 to Dealership Accountant.

What made you join Arbury?

After I’d finished my first AAT qualification, Arbury offered to pay for and support further levels of education to help me get to where I wanted to be.

What are your future goals within Arbury?

Keep learning, keep developing, and help shape the future of the accounts function. My next career goal is to become a Financial Controller.

I love my teams. We’re not treated as numbers, and the directors aren’t just names – they’re people that we know and talk to.
