Here at #TeamArbury, we’re delighted to feature the New Nissan Qashqai as part of our distinguished Nissan line-up. And right now, this popular crossover has received an edgy facelift, along with improved efficiency and tech updates.

A firm favourite among drivers, the Qashqai was the UK’s best-selling car in 2022 and the runner-up in 2023. Big boots to fill – but the new refresh isn’t shying away from doing something a little different. It once again raises the bar with a bold new exterior, classy interior and a broad portfolio of intuitive technology updates.

Ready to make a big impact, the New Nissan Qashqai is now in production at the brand’s Sunderland Plant, where more than 1.3 million units have rolled off the production line since the first model was launched in 2007.

Let’s dive into the new model…

A bold facelift

The first thing you’ll notice about the New Nissan Qashqai is the reworked front end, which Nissan say is inspired by Japanese samurai helmets. New headlights sharpen the look and showcase the Qashqai’s practicality, while the front grille has comma shaped elements which enhance the model’s triangular headlights to embolden its look. These are a tribute to the craftsmanship and muscularity of ancient Japanese armour scales. What’s more, the adaptive high beam feature is perfect for low-light conditions and fog.

At the back, there’s a new bumper and the taillights have had a soft refresh with a tweak to the cluster. Flanks of the bumper are the same colour as the body and are defined by a thin body-coloured ‘chin strap’ to give fuller definition.

Upgraded interior

Once captivated by the Qashqai’s refreshed exterior, you’ll find your intrigue deepening upon entering the revamped interior. While the cabin changes are less drastic, Alcantara applications grace the upper trims, enhancing the ambience with meticulous Japanese craftsmanship. Updated seat trims, including black partially quilted premium leather, enhance the luxury feel across the top trims. Last but not least, ambient lighting, controllable via the central infotainment screen, further enhances the onboard experience.

A new trim on the block

The N-Design grade joins the line-up with a host of unique aesthetic touches, making it the boldest Qashqai yet. On the exterior, the lower body portion below the doors and the wheel arches is body-coloured, plus there are also unique, all-new 20-inch alloy wheels which keep you rolling in style. Inside, the seats on the N-Design trim feature black leather with quilting, Alcantara inserts and an embossed ‘Qashqai’ wordmark below the headrest.

Modern technology

The New Nissan Qashqai refines the driving experience even further with enhanced features. Notably, the around view monitor receives a significant upgrade, offering a bird’s-eye view for parking confidence.

New 3D functionality, coupled with innovative safety features like moving object detection and an ‘invisible hood view’, further enhance manoeuvrability and hazard awareness. What’s more, smart features like parking spot location memory help make parking a breeze, while visual changes on the TFT driver information screen adapt to driving modes, ensuring optimal focus for drivers.

Meanwhile, driver assistance systems have also received significant upgrades, enhancing vigilance and intervention for peace of mind. Autonomous emergency braking is sharpened for quicker risk detection, while emergency stop signal activates flashing rear brake lights during sudden braking at high speeds. Emergency lane keep system and intelligent speed assistance are improved. New driver assist custom mode allows personalised intervention levels.

Hey, Google!

The refreshed Qashqai is the first vehicle in Nissan’s European range with the suite of Google built-in, facilitating seamless connectivity. Google Maps, Google Assistant and access to Google Play apps redefine the driving experience. Additionally, Nissan Connected Services and optional Amazon Alexa subscription ensure peace of mind and extended functionality.

Power and precision

Under the bonnet, the New Nissan Qashqai offers an electrifying choice of 138bhp and 148bhp mild-hybrid petrol powertrains, plus the 187bhp e-POWER full hybrid. It utilises a petrol engine to generate electricity for propulsion, eliminating the need for a gearbox. This results in a seamless driving experience, blending responsiveness, refinement and efficiency without compromising your driving pleasure.

With instant torque and linear response akin to pure electric vehicles, e-POWER offers a transitionary step for those not yet ready for full EV adoption.
