According to the 2018 Auto Express Driver Power survey, the best new car to own in 2018 – as voted for by its owners – is the Peugeot 3008 SUV! And it didn’t just win, it left its competitors far behind, scoring the highest owner satisfaction rating in 16 years with a staggering 93.88%.

As the motor that officially makes its owners the happiest in the country, the multi-award-winning 3008 has shone a light on the quality, value and style currently being produced by the Peugeot brand.

In fact, editor-in-chief at Auto Express, Steve Fowler, said that the 3008 was ‘providing precisely what owners want these days. It’s got the SUV style that’s in huge demand, but backs it up with a high-quality interior, plenty of space, a great drive and excellent reliability – it’s no surprise owners love it so much.’

This isn’t the first award the family-friendly 3008 has won though, as since it launched in 2017, it has earned itself 45 international awards – not many other cars can compete with that figure, if any.

2018 marks the 16th year of the automotive study and more than 80,000 respondents contributed with their overall vehicle satisfaction, with an average score of 90.94%, an increase from last year’s 89.83%.
