Face masks to become mandatory in Arbury dealerships from 24th July
The government has announced that wearing a face mask (or face covering) in shops and supermarkets will become compulsory in England from Friday 24th July – and, as a retail outlet, this applies to all Arbury dealerships.
At Arbury the health and welfare of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority, so we welcome this change to public advice – which comes amid mounting evidence that masks are effective in hindering the transmission of coronavirus.
From 24th July, you will therefore be required to wear a face mask upon entering our dealerships – if you’re not wearing one, you will unfortunately be refused entry. You will also be required to wear your own mask, as we will not have any available for customer use. The government has also warned that not wearing a mask could result in a £100 fine.
We have been delighted to reopen all of our dealerships, and have worked incredibly hard to adapt our showroom environments and develop new processes to ensure that every visit you make to us is not only an enjoyable experience, but a safe one too. Adding compulsory face masks for visitors is another step towards maintaining the appropriate health and safety measures, and providing a safe experience for all.
